In an interview with Allure, the star of 'The Age of Adaline' opened up about rising her baby daughter and said that being a mom taught her to accept aging.

AceShowbiz - Blake Lively opened up about her experience of being new mother for baby daughter James. Gracing the cover of the May edition of Allure, the wife of Ryan Reynolds also claimed that being a mother made her accept aging gracefully in an accompanying interview with the magazine.

"I feel like I've figured out the most important thing to me," the 27-year-old actress told the news outlet. "People are obsessed with beauty and youth and with looking and feeling young forever. But look at a woman who is granted that. She's trapped, because it's tragic to be young forever."

She further said what having a child meant to her, "And also, having a child makes you realize that we pass on for a reason. You think, I have to go, because it makes room for you."

In other news, Lively opened up about diaper duties during an interview with E! News to promote her upcoming movie "The Age of Adaline" at the Four Season in Beverly Hills. "It's the best," Lively told the host after being asked what she felt about motherhood. "It's the thing that binds us all - family. We have very unique jobs for a living, but we all are a part of someone's family. It's a nice thing."

When the host asked who was better at diaper duties, Lively's husband Ryan Reynolds who sat next to the actress in the interview said, "I am pretty good at diaper duties." The star of "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" then chimed in, "I think it's pretty even at our house," showing that the two take turn in the duties.
