Shortly after revealing the official cover art of "#1 to Infinity", Mariah Carey shared its official release date. The diva announced on Monday, April 13 that the album which will accompany her upcoming Las Vegas residency would finally hit the stores on May 18.

She has also unwrapped the record's tracklist which features 19 songs, 18 of which are her No. 1 singles on Billboard Hot 100 including classics like "Vision of Love", "Hero", "Always Be My Baby", "We Belong Together" and "One Sweet Day" featuring Boyz II Men.

The only new song on the set is called "Infinity". It's scheduled to be premiered globally on April 27 along with its music video directed by Brett Ratner.

"#1 to Infinity" is Carey's first to be released under Epic Records, which she joined earlier this year to reunite with her longtime collaborator L.A. Reid. "I couldn't be more thrilled to be back together again with Mariah," Reid, CEO and chairman of the label, said of working with the singer again in a statement released Monday, April 13.

"There is really no one who comes close to Mariah as both a songwriter and a singer, and as the world knows, her vocal range is legendary and truly incomparable. Her music is indelibly etched into our culture, and she's shattered so many chart records that she's now firmly entrenched in the history books. With a fierce and loyal fan base that covers every corner of the globe, I have no doubt Mariah will do it again," he added.

Carey will perform her 18 No. 1 hits during her Las Vegas residency, which starts on May 6 at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Before entirely shifting her focus on the upcoming shows, she's expected to host a kick-off event in the city on April 27.
