AceShowbiz - Lil Wayne has personally responded to Young Thug naming his upcoming album "Carter 6". Tunechi, whose own "Tha Carter V" is still indefinitely delayed by Cash Money, admitted to getting annoyed by the 22-year-old MC's decision during his live show on Thursday night, April 9.
Wayne halted the gig in Jackson, Mississippi and unleashed his anger in front of the crowd. "Before I go any further, I want ya'll to do me a favor and stop listening to some ni**as that pose naked on their motherf**kin' album cover," he told the crowd, referring to the "Carter 6" album artwork that features Thug posing completely naked. The cover was posted on Instagram a few days ago as he revealed the album would arrive on April 17.
The Atlanta-based rapper has reacted to Weezy's diss. He took to Instagram on Friday to post a video of him saying, "I understand that Lil Wayne is frustrated about his career and I feel him on that, but this is my idol. I would never in my life swap words with him or beef with him about nothing. This is a person that I look up to. Ha Ha."
Before Wayne expressed his frustration over "Carter 6", his daughter Reginae Carter blasted Thug in a string of Twitter posts last month. "Is he trying to be funny with this Carter6 ? Cause it's pretty childish to me ! #myopinion," she wrote. "Try again if you're even trying to get on my fathers level."
