In some videos taken and shared on social media by other concertgoers, Levine was in the middle of singing a song when the fan ran towards him and later hugged him from behind. The vocalist was visibly startled, but he managed to handle the situation smoothly.

He put his arm around her and had a brief chat with her until a security guard arrived and walked her down the stage.

Following the incident, Levine admitted to the crowd that the whole thing was scary. "It's just weird to be, like, in the moment, ya know? And you're singing, and your eyes are closed, and you have this beautiful moment. And then the next thing you know someone's f**king in your face," Levine said. "It's super terrifying."
