Fresh off his critically-acclaimed "American Sniper", Clint Eastwood is now circling another high profile project. According to Deadline, the director is seriously eying "The Ballad of Richard Jewell" with intent to sit behind the lens.

Inspired by the true story of the Atlanta Olympics bombing in 1996, the film will re-team the dynamic duo of "The Wolf of Wall Street", Jonah Hill and Leonardo DiCaprio. Hill is set to play Jewell and DiCaprio portrays his lawyer.

Based on Marie Brenner's 1997 Vanity Fair article, the film follows Richard Jewell, a security guard who found a backpack filled with bombs on the park ground of the 1996 Atlanta Olympics and helped evacuate the area before the bomb exploded. He was initially hailed a hero but his life turned hellish when he was considered a suspect.

Paul Greengrass was previously eyeing to direct the project, but he eventually left to helm the next Bourne film.
