The King of Pop, Michael Jackson, used to prank call Russell Crowe with cheesy jokes until Crowe lost his patience.

Russell Crowe was once annoyed with Michael Jackson because of his silly actions. The "Man of Steel" actor said that Jackson used to prank call him with cheesy jokes.
In recent interview with the Guardian, Crowe said, "Two or three f***ing years, I never met him, never shook his hand, but he found out the name I stayed in hotels under, so it didn't matter where I was, he'd ring up do this kind of thing, like you did when you were 10, you know." He was disturbed by those kind of joke and did not consider it funny. Moreover, he claimed that Jackson was a weird person because of his jokes.
When asked what Jackson would say, Crowe replied, " 'Is Mr. Wall there? Is Mrs. Wall there? Are there any Walls there? Then what's holding the roof up? Ha ha.' You're supposed to grow out of doing that, right?" Crowe also revealed another prank that Jackson made, "He'd ring me and in a strong voice and say, 'There is an emergency and you need to leave the building,' " said Crowe. "I'd ask 'Who is this?' And he'd say, 'Do not worry Russell, just kidding, this is Michael.' "
