A glimpse of Angel is teased by Bryan Singer as his movie "X-Men: Apocalypse" is entering production. Posted on the director's Instagram, the picture shows a shirtless man with feathered wings standing inside a massive cage surrounded by audience.

Angel is one of the first five mutants in the "X-Men" comic series, joining Cyclops, Jean Grey, Beast, and Iceman. It's unclear who will play the mutant, but Ben Hardy is cast for an unspecified role.

The other new faces include Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Alexandra Shipp, and Lana Condor who are cast as younger Jean Grey, Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Storm, and Jubilee respectively. Fox is also reportedly casting Psylocke.

The film will be released on May 27, 2016 in the States. James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, and Evan Peters are set to return as Prof. X, Magneto, Beast, and Quicksilver respectively. Jennifer Lawrence also reprises her role as Mystique. She is expected to make her final appearance in the franchise. On top of that, Channing Tatum is rumored to make his debut as Gambit before the character gets his own solo film on October 7, 2016.
