AceShowbiz - Will Ferrell was awarded with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday, March 24. At the unveiling ceremony, Will was supported by his wife Viveca Paulin and their three sons, as well as his friends and co-stars including Kevin Hart, John C. Reilly and Molly Shannon.

Will thanked his fans and cracked a joke during his acceptance speech. "It goes without saying that I feel so fortunate, and yet I can't accept this award. So just cover it up, cover it up for someone else," he joked, before adding, "I not only accept it, but I will be here every day from 3 to 5 P.M. polishing the star. You can count on that. And on those days that John's in the neighborhood, he will help me as well."

John said, "Maybe some day, in 50 years, people will look down on the sidewalk and say the things that we say today about some of these people, 'Who the f**k is this guy?' But I hope not. This man is deserving of all the praise we give him today."

Molly shared her experience with Will on "Saturday Night Live", saying, "[Will] said, 'I don't know, what if acting doesn't work out? What if animation totally takes over and they don't need real human actors?' I said, 'I don't think that's going to happen,' and he said, 'I could just have a simple life, driving a truck or living on a farm and driving that truck on that farm.' So, he had a backup plan."

Will will next be seen in "Get Hard" alongside Kevin, Alison Brie, Edwina Findley and Craig T. Nelson. The comedy flick is set to hit U.S. theaters on March 27.
