Jon Hamm Finishes Rehab Stint for Alcohol Ahead of 'Mad Men' Premiere

The 44-year-old actor completed his 30-day rehab program for alcohol abuse just days before the premiere of the final episodes of 'Mad Men'.

AceShowbiz - Jon Hamm has finished a rehab stint just days before the premiere of the final episodes of "Mad Men", TMZ reports. The "Million Dollar Arm" actor spent 30 days at Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan, Connecticut for alcohol abuse. He checked himself to the rehab facility at the end of February.

His representative said in a statement, "With the support of his longtime partner Jennifer Westfeldt, Jon Hamm recently completed treatment for his struggle with alcohol addiction. They have asked for privacy and sensitivity going forward."

It's not revealed when Jon checked out of the rehab facility but he was seen attending a "Mad Men" screening at the Museum of Modern Art in New York on Sunday, March 22.

The final run of "Mad Men" starring Jon, Elisabeth Moss, Vincent Kartheiser, January Jones and Christina Hendricks will premiere on Sunday, April 5 at 10 P.M. on AMC. It will seen Don and Co. heading into the 1970s.

Besides "Mad Men", Jon also lent his voice for upcoming animated movie "Minions". He will voice Herb Overkill, the husband of Scarlet Overkill which is voiced by Sandra Bullock. The prequel/spin-off of "Despicable Me" is set to hit U.S. theaters on July 10.
