Turning 39 years old on Sunday, March 22, Reese Witherspoon shared her birthday picture on Instagram. The snap showed her sporting a huge smile as she was presented with a birthday cake. "Thank you everyone for all the kind & lovely birthday wishes. (and yes, there is a mariachi band behind me...)," so she captioned it.
On her big day, Reese received best wishes from some of her celebrity friends, including Ellen DeGeneres and Sofia Vergara. As for Ellen, the talk show host shouted out via Twitter, "Happy bday, @RWitherspoon! hope you celebrate with people you love, not alone in the desert w/ no water & a fox." Sofia, meanwhile, tweeted, "Happy Happy bday to this pretty little girl!!!"
