The DJ, who started the war with the singer after mocking her backside on Twitter last year, says that dealing with her die-hard fans is the most difficult part of the feud.

Diplo truly regrets he has ever picked a fight with Taylor Swift. In a new interview with British GQ Style, the Los Angeles-based DJ admits that feuding with the country-turned-pop superstar was "one of the biggest mistakes of [his] career."
"All I know is don't ever get into a feud with Taylor Swift," he tells the magazine and goes on to reveal the most difficult part of having a problem with Swift is having to deal with millions of her die-hard fans known as Swifties.
"She has like 50 million people that will die for her. You can't step into that arena. That was something I was never prepared for," he explains. "One of the biggest mistakes of my career was definitely f**king with her."
The feud between Diplo and Swift began after he mocked her backside in a tweet he posted back in November. "Someone should make a kickstarter to get taylor swift a booty," he wrote. Swift's fans got angry and confronted him on social media. Her BFF Lorde also defended her, tweeting, "Should we do something about your tiny penis while we're at it hm."
In an interview with GQ earlier this year, Diplo talked about getting verbally bullied by Swifties. "Taylor Swift fans are really crazy. They threatened to murder me and stuff. It's really bizarre, and disgusting. They're the worst people in the world," he said. "They're like 'I wish your kids had Down syndrome.' They're so evil... These people are like mean-spirited, evil human beings. I'm not a politician. I shouldn't have to be under the microscope for people like that."
The feud, however, appeared to have been settled. The two were pictured hanging out together at the Grammys last month. The 36-year-old entertainer posted the photo on Instagram and captioned it, "Then this happened @taylorswift vs taylor spliff ."
