Congratulations are in order for actress Sarah Shahi and her actor husband Steve Howey. The "Person of Interest" actress gave birth to twins, daughter Violet Moon and son Knox Blue, a week ago on March 1, at home in Los Angeles.

Shahi, 35, and "Shameless" actor Howey, 37, married in 2009. They are also parents to 5-year-old son William Wolf. She delivered her first child during an at-home water birth. "[He] came out into a tub of water and then my husband brought him up for air," she once said.

She added, "I never thought I would be one of those wacky chicks who say, 'I loved my labor,' but I loved every part of it. It was the best day of my life."

The actress is currently on maternity leave after learning she was expecting while filming her show last fall. She is expected to return when her schedule allows.
