AceShowbiz - Love is in the air on "The Amazing Race" season 26 which features dating couples and the show has apparently helped a couple's love grow even stronger. In the latest episode of the CBS reality series, a contestant, Matt, proposed to her girlfriend Ashley at the pit stop.
They arrived at the finish line, Baba Nest Roof Top Bar located atop a gorgeous mountain in Phuket, Thailand after some drama, as Matt left his fanny pack at the previous location and had to get back to retrieve it.
They arrived sixth, and in front of host Phil Keoghan and other contestants, Matt said he promised to always say "I love you," to always kiss her goodnight, and to always admit when she's right. Everybody started to cheer for the couple as the hairstylist got down on his knee, showed her the ring and asked her to marry him. Bergin and Kurt gave their Date Night to the happy couple as a gift. Earlier in the episode, the remaining nine teams flew from Japan to Thailand. They faced a Detour at Baan Teelanka, or the upside down house. They could choose the Ski challenge in which they had to make it around the Phuket Wave Park on a wake board while hanging onto a fast-moving cable, or the Tree challenge where they had to carry a tray of food while attached to a zip line 100 feet off the ground.
The next challenge was located at My Way Caberet where they had to participate in "Don't Drag Your Heels" performance. Mike and Rochelle nailed it first and became the first team to arrive at the pit stop. They won a trip to Prague.
Harley and Jonathan were the last team to arrive, but it was a non-elimination leg so they're safe. Next week, they will have an additional Speed Bump to perform.
