Resurrecting from their so-called "considerable" break from music, Mumford & Sons announced a new album. The set, titled "Wilder Mind", is set to hit the stores on May 4 this year.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, the band confirmed their new album would no longer feature "their signature elements - banjo, acoustic strumming, stomping kick drum." They "replaced them with U2-sized guitars, synths, spacey mellotrons and even some drum machines." On that matter, Marcus Mumford explained, "We felt that doing the same thing, or the same instrumentation again, just wasn't for us." Ted Dwane then added, "We've got a broader taste in music than just that. None of us had really any interest in doing a sort of Babel 2. It was always going to be different."

To support "Wilder Mind", which will be the band's first album since announcing their break in September 2013, Marcus, Country Wilson, Ben Lovett, and Ted, have planned to embark on a tour this summer. They would be joined on the tour by the likes of Foo Fighters and My Morning Jacket just to name a few.
