AceShowbiz - Director David Ayer chose the word "majestic" when asked by his Twitter follower to describe Jared Leto's Joker in upcoming movie "Suicide Squad" in one word. Leto himself has previously described the part as a "nearly Shakespearean character." The actor was quoted as saying, "The opportunity to take on this nearly Shakespearean character - that's what graphic novels and comic books are becoming, right? [He's] this beautiful disaster of a character - what a big challenge."

Giving no further clues either about Joker or "Suicide Squad", Ayer however tweeted some behind-the-scenes pics from the film's pre-production phase. "Sets are going up #skwad," so he captioned one shot. "Testing new iPad controlled lights. Old school light on left. #skwad," so read a caption of the other photo.

Based on the DC comic book, superhero film "Suicide Squad" centers its story on the team of supervillains who are given a chance at redemption by the government, but their mission will probably kill them all. The movie, planned for August 5, 2016 release, is produced by Charles Roven and Richard Suckle for Warner Bros. Pictures. In addition to Jared Leto, the cast ensembles include the likes of Will Smith, Margot Robbie, and Cara Delevingne among others.
