The TV hitmaker says GaGa's much-talked-about tribute to 'The Sound of Music' is 'not okay.'

Lady GaGa's tribute to "The Sound of Music" became one of the highlights of the 2015 Academy Awards on Sunday night, February 22. The performance received rave reviews from the crowd as well as numerous viewers at home, excluding Shonda Rhimes.

The "Grey's Anatomy" writer then took to Twitter to voice what she really thought about GaGa's set, admitting the singer's vocal chops didn't impress her. "That was not okay. I mean, Idina is there. She is right there. RIGHT THERE. And oh dear God, Julie had to hear that. #Oscars2015," she wrote.

Rhimes of course referred to Idina Menzel who was one of the presenters and Julie Andrews who surprised the audience when she walked onto the stage after GaGa finished singing. Andrews was also the star of the musical which is turning 50 this year

Despite Rhimes' disapproval, Andrews herself has said that she's happy with GaGa's performance. "I was deeply honored by the Academy's lovely tribute to 'The Sound of Music', and especially touched by Lady GaGa's wonderful performance," she said. "I have always been a fan, but last night we bonded and now I have a new friend."
