In addition to singing the track, Lopez has lent her voice to the character of Tip's mother for the animated film.

The lyric video of Jennifer Lopez's new track "Feel the Light" has hit the web. The song was one of the tracks featured on the soundtrack set of the upcoming animated movie "Home (2015)".
Another song titled "Towards the Sun" sung by Rihanna for the film has also been premiered. In addition to both songstresses, the soundtrack set features songs by fellow music stars Charli XCX and Kiesza.
"Home" tells the story of Tip a.k.a. Gratuity, voiced by Rihanna, "a young girl who finds herself left behind when the Boov, an alien race, relocate to Earth and capture all the humans." She then befriends with Oh, voiced by Jim Parsons, "a quirky but banished alien outcast, and together they go on 'the roadtrip of a lifetime' as they learn what 'home' really means."
Lopez, in the meantime, is also on board the film, voicing Tip's mom. Those voice cast are joined by the likes of Steve Martin, Matt Jones and Dominique Monfery. "Home" is slated for March 27 release date.
