AceShowbiz - Zayn Malik had to miss the last minutes of One Direction's concert in Australia on Friday, February 20 after he fell ill. The British singer, who's along with his bandmates was in the country for their "On the Road Again" tour, left the stage at Perth's Patersons Stadium early before Niall Horan announced Zayn was too sick to perform.

Numerous fans then took to social media to wish their idol speedy recovery. "It's not a 1D song without your high note Zayn so get well soon pls," a fan tweeted. One fan also praised him for still taking the stage despite not feeling well, saying, "Zayn is ill but still managed to perform many songs before he had to leave the stage. #GetWellSoonZayn."

Zayn had reportedly sung around 17 tracks before he gave up. The concert continued with the rest of the band, Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson, singing the remaining three songs on the setlist without their pal.

Details on the 22-year-old heartthrob's illness are still unavailable, although his rep said it was "nothing serious." He was expected to perform at the next "On the Road Again" show in Osaka, Japan on February 24.
