The 'Because I Got High' singer says he's seeking anger-management rehab after punching the female fan during his concert in Biloxi, Mississippi on Tuesday, February 17.

AceShowbiz - Afroman apologized for punching a female fan onstage during his concert in Biloxi, Mississippi on Tuesday, February 17. The singer said in an interview with TMZ on Wednesday that he's heading to an anger-management rehab. He also admitted that his act was "wrong."

However, Afroman then made some excuses, blaming a heckler and the woman who was onstage for being there. He said he didn't realize the woman was still there, mistaking her for a male heckler who had been berating him throughout his concert. "I thought the girls had already left the stage, and after hearing this guy for a few songs, I thought it was him," he said.

The "Because I Got High" crooner also claimed he was anxious during the concert because he hadn't medicated and "had to walk half a mile to get to the place."

Afroman posted on Twitter, "It is what it is," before retweeting a video of the punching incident.

In the beginning of the video, Afroman was seen carrying a guitar as he turned back, apparently to talk with the female fan. He began strumming his guitar and at one point he turned and landed a punch on her face. He didn't help the female fan but continued performing.

The female fan then got up on her own and left the stage. A male fan then got up stage and followed her behind.

TMZ obtained the photo of Afroman getting handcuffed by police. According to the site, cops stopped the concert and escorted the singer off stage. He was booked for assault and was later released after paying a $330 bond. His rep told the site that the venue was lack of security to keep fans off stage.

This isn't the first time Afroman has assaulted his fan onstage. Back in December, he tossed a male fan off stage during his concert in Cincinnati.
