Some Twitter users believe the 'Heart Wants What It Wants' star has been purposely made to look younger than her years in the magazine spread and the photos give a reminiscent of Lolita.

AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez has landed in hot water after her racy photoshoot for V Magazine was branded as a reminiscent of Lolita, the underage girl seduced by a middle-aged man from the famous Vladimir Nabokov book. Some Twitter users say Selena looked much younger than her years by wearing children accessories like a cowboy hat and polkadot bows on her hair.
A user named Ventura Olvera wrote, "How disturbing is @selenagomez' topless shoot for @vmagazine? She looks like an absolute 12-year-old. What is up with that make up." Marie posted, "Selena Gomez cover for V Magazine is very Lolita like,right? she's a beautiful girl but imo this way looks really young.." ThugNasty_vx, tweeted, "@MGZLEZZ @ENews @selenagomez @vmagazine nah not like 'u look so young' young .. She looks like that 'you aren't legal for 2 more yrs' young."
Some other users said the magazine spread was creepy. Maureen tweeted, "Selena Gomez is a grown woman but on the cover of V, she looks like a 13 year old Lolita-type with that hair clip and doe-eyed look #creepy." Michael Knudsen posted, "If I could erase images from my mind it would be those @selenagomez pics for @vmagazine! She's cute but not in that super creepy spread #ugh." Emma wrote, "Confused! In the cover photo of V Magazine, topless Selena crossed her arms to cover her breasts. She only wore a pair of tiny hotpants with her hair styled in small, voluminous curls. She accentuated her baby face with dramatic lashes and some accessories like hop earrings and a red polkadot bow.
