AceShowbiz - Another new ad set to air during Super Bowl XLIX is revealed ahead of the big game on February 1. In a commercial to promote Nationwide Insurance, Mindy Kaling tired of being ignored indulges in life as an invisible woman. She goes sunbathing naked in the park, eating food from a stranger's plate, and helping herself to a big tub of ice cream.
"My writers and I had so much fun brainstorming ideas for this ad because it was all about wish fulfillment. For instance, I have always wanted to walk through a car wash, and then I got to do it for the ad!" she said to AdWeek. "In this ad I was able to have fun fantasizing about all the ridiculous stuff you would do if you were invisible ... and mischievous."
Carl's Jr. also released a steamy ad in which curvaceous model Charlotte McKinney strolling around the market in a barely-there outfit. Meanwhile, Bud Light puts a beer drinker in a life-size Pac-Man game with giant ghosts. Each company reportedly has to pay nearly $4.5 million to get their 30-second commercial aired during the football game.
The 49th annual NFL championship will take place at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Idina Menzel will sing the National Anthem, John Legend will belt out "America the Beautiful", and Katy Perry will take the stage during the halftime show with Lenny Kravitz as one of her special guests.
