New update from Warner Bros.' "Aquaman" has emerged. On Thursday, January 22, Latino Review reported that the movie starring Jason Momoa had possibly found another candidate for the director. The report mentions Noam Murro is considered to serve behind the lens.
Murro previously directed "300: Rise of an Empire" which also features Zack Snyder (director of "Man of Steel", "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice") as one of the producers and co-writer. Director Jeff Nichols, who recently worked with Matthew McConaughey in "Mud", was first linked to "Aquaman" last month after documents leaked following massive cyber attack at Sony Pictures Entertainment.
The report additionally suggests that the project has found its villain in Karl Urban. However, the actor is expected to reprise his role in "Star Trek 3" which targets July 8, 2016 release, so they have to wait until the space adventure flick finishes production.
"Aquaman" targets July 27, 2018 as its U.S. release date.
