Justin Bieber is coming to Comedy Central. The 20-year-old Canadian singer will be the butt of the joke in an upcoming special reportedly scheduled for March 7. Ryan Seacrest first broke the news before Comedy Central and Bieber confirmed it.

"Justin has been asking us for a few years to roast him, and we just kept telling him to go create more source material first. We're thrilled he listened," said Kent Alterman, President, Content Development & Original Programming, Comedy Central.

"For years I have wanted Comedy Central to roast me. They said only if I provided them w/ more material so for a year now I have worked hard," Bieber himself tweeted. "Finally after all that hard work for my 21st bday it's happening. Thanks @RyanSeacrest & @ComedyCentral for the announcement. Let's do it :) Lol. #BieberRoast."

He joins the rank of celebrities who got a Comedy Central roast in the past like Joan Rivers, Roseanne Barr, Charlie Sheen, Donald Trump, David Hasselhoff, Joan Rivers, and Bob Saget. The last star getting roasted on Comedy Central was James Franco in 2013 with the help of Seth Rogen. It attracted 3.1 million viewers.

Meanwhile, Bieber has been a target of jokes in the past years due to his antics. The freshest one came from "Saturday Night Live" where Kate McKinnon once again impersonated the pint- sized pop star. In a sketch that parodied his Calvin Klein underwear ad, she ridiculed his tattoos and height among other things. And he approved of the jokes as he tweeted, "@nbcsnl well played. Lol."
