The 'How to Get Away with Murder' actress seemingly confirms her involvement in the movie in a new interview, saying that she's 'working out [her] schedule for 'Suicide Squad'.'

AceShowbiz - Viola Davis who previously was reported to play Amanda Waller in "Suicide Squad" seemingly has confirmed her involvement in the movie. In a new interview with NerdReport at "Blackhat" press junket, the "How to Get Away with Murder" star talked about the movie and admitted to being "fascinated" by the character Waller.

When asked if she had started reading the comics, Davis said, "Not yet. I have not started reading them yet. I've read up about her but I'm working out my schedule for 'Suicide Squad'."

The actress additionally gushed about Waller, saying that she was "interested" in the character. "I'm fascinated by her. I'm fascinated by her in this world of superhero-ness because she is not a woman that you would expect. I think that she is a massive contradiction. She's this big powerful black woman, hard, ready to pick up a gun and shoot anyone at will. I'm fascinated in exploring her psychology, just put it that way. And I'm excited to pick up a gun," she explained.

"Suicide Squad" tells the story of a group of DC comics supervillains who are given a chance to redeem their past by taking part in dangerous missions by the government. Waller is a former congressional aide and government agent who oversees Suicide Squad. Jared Leto, Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Tom Hardy, Jai Courtney and Cara Delevingne are set to play The Joker, Deadshot, Joker's girlfriend Harley Quinn, Rick Flag, Boomerang and Enchantress respectively.
