Brad Pitt stole the show as he introduced his friend David Oyelowo at the 2015 Palm Springs International Film Festival in Palm Springs, California on Saturday, January 3. The "Selma" producer led the audience in a hilarious sing-along lesson on how to pronounce David's name.

"Tonight we celebrate an actor brave enough to step into the shoes of Martin Luther King. And I know that there is one lingering question in the back of your minds and that question is, how the hell do you pronounce his name?" Brad said as the audience laughed, "It's ok, it's alright, I've been there - and I'm here to help."

Angelina Jolie's husband then demonstrated to the audience how to pronounce David's last name by singing "O-yellow-oh" to the tune of the popular soccer chant "Ole, Ole, Ole" and then to Coldplay's song "Yellow".

When David finally made it up to the stage, he told the audience, "You know you've broken through when Brad Pitt sings your name!"

In the awards ceremony, David was honored with the Breakthrough Performance Award for his portrayal of Martin Luther King, Jr. in "Selma". He was accompanied by his wife Jessica Oyelowo and their sons Caleb and Asher.
