Iggy Azalea will not let a joint disorder affect her work. The Australian raptress mentioned her health problem when she took to Twitter on New Year's Eve to share her plan for the new year. After confirming that she would start working on her second album next week, the "Fancy" hitmaker wrote, "Last month I was diagnosed with TMJ which isn't the best."

Temporomandibular joint dysfunction or TMJ causes pain in jaw joints and muscles around the area. "I'm gonna make more of an effort to take care of myself in 2015, stay away from all the drama & hopefully not have any [flare ups]," she added. In the string of posts, Azalea also told fans to take care of themselves in 2015.

"I don't think western medicine all the way acknowledges what a huge toll mental stress takes on our bodies. But I do believe it is a factor. Anyhow I don't think it will ever prevent me from doing anything I want to but it has made me realize it's important to look after yourself. So that's my little update and message! Look after your body and mind in the new year, be safe and enjoy it all!" she concluded.

Azalea was among performers at Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve 2015 with Ryan Seacrest on Wednesday night, December 31. Wearing a sequinned blazer over an all-black outfit, she hit the stage alongside Charli XCX who opted for an all-white dress with sheer panel on her thighs. In addition to the "Black Widow" hitmaker, the event featured performances from stars like Taylor Swift, One Direction and Idina Menzel.
