The 'Complicated' singer takes to Twitter to slam rumors that she has been in rehab, joking that 'the only thing I'm addicted to right now is Bing Crosby.'

AceShowbiz - Avril Lavigne has shot down rumors which claimed she has been in rehab. The "My Happy Ending" songstress took to Twitter on Tuesday evening, December 23 to set the record straight, calling the rumors "hilarious."
"The rehab RUMORS are hilarious! The only thing I'm addicted to right now is Bing Crosby," the 30-year-old singer wrote, before adding, "MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! and to all a goodnight!"
Last week, Star magazine claimed Avril was in rehab. "The buzz in her inner circle is that she's been in rehab for depression and substance abuse issues. Avril was an emotional wreck over her marital problems, and she turned to partying to deal with the pain," the magazine wrote.
Earlier this month, Avril told a fan on Twitter that she's "having some health issues." In a DM exchange posted by @AvrilMusicChart, Avril wrote, "I feel bad because I haven't been able to say anything to the fans to let them no why I've been absent. I'm torn as I'm quite private.... I'm not feeling well. I'm having some health issues. So please keep me in your prayers."
The fan posted, "You know we're always with you Avril. Get well soon ;( we're always pray for you. I'll tell other fans to keep you in prayers ;( xo," to which the "Hello Kitty" singer replied, "Thank you."
