Danny Boyle's untitled Steve Jobs biopic has added another cast member. On Tuesday, December 23, it was revealed that Katherine Waterston, who most recently showed amazing performance in Paul Thomas Anderson's "Inherent Vice" alongside Joaquin Phoenix, joined the upcoming project. According to Deadline, Waterston is offered to play Chrisann Brennan, the Apple founder's first wife.

The main character Jobs, meanwhile, will be played by Michael Fassbender. Seth Rogen will portray Steve Wozniak and Michael Stuhlbarg is joining the two as computer scientist Andy Hertzfeld. Based on the biography by Walter Isaacson, Boyle is serving behind the lense with Aaron Sorkin working on the script.

The project was originally developed in Sony Pictures. It was picked up by Universal after the studio put it into turnaround. Most recently, Kate Winslet was reported to be in negotiations for a female lead role.
