Kim Kardashian has become the most followed person on Instagram. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star defeated the former most followed person Justin Bieber after he lost more than 3.5 million followers in fake follower purge on Thursday, December 18.

According to an infographic created by web developer Zach Allia, Justin's followers originally were around 23.8 million but after the purge, the number went down into 20.3 million and put him in third place of most followed person. Kim herself also lost a big number of followers. The number of her followers went down from 23.5 million to 22.2 million, which means she lost around 1.3 million followers.

Beyonce Knowles is currently in second place with 21.4 million followers. She lost around 866,000 followers after the purge.

Other celebrities who also lost a large number of followers include Akon, Tyga, Ariana Grande, Rihanna, Selena Gomez and P. Diddy. Akon lost more than 2.4 million followers, Tyga lost around 2.1 million followers, Ariana lost around 1.5 million followers, Rihanna and Selena lost around 1.1 million followers, while P. Diddy lost more than 1 million followers.

Famous 90s rapper Ma$e reportedly deleted his Instagram account after losing 1.5 million followers from 1.6 million to 272,000 in a short time.

In other news, Kim's fan named Jordan James Park recently made headlines after undergoing cosmetic surgery to look like the reality star. Jordan reportedly spent more than $150,000 to replicate Kim's unique pouty image.

"I love everything about Kim," the 23-year-old British man told The Sun of his idol, "She's the most gorgeous woman ever. Her skin is perfect, her hair, everything about her." He wasn't worried about what people would say about his new look. "I laugh when people try to insult me by telling me I look plastic or fake," he said, "Do they think I'm going for the natural look? If I was, I'd ask for my money back."
