Instead of locking their lips, the 'Shake It Off' hitmaker and the 'American Idol' host take selfies of their kissy faces and put their phones together to create a kiss.

AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift and Ryan Seacrest were "kissing" in the new promotional video for Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve. The video, which is obtained by ET, debuted during "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Thursday night, December 4.
Ryan said in the video, "Since I'm hosting New Year's Rockin Eve." Taylor then added, "And I'm performing right before the ball drop." The 39-year-old TV host followed it up, "Everyone has been asking if we're going to kiss on midnight." The "Blank Space" singer then stated, "Here you are America, we're going to give you exactly what you want."
As romantic music played, Taylor and Ryan could be seen pouting their lips and closing their eyes. Before their lips locked, they held up their phones, took selfies and placed their phones side by side to create a kiss.
In the upcoming Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve, Taylor will be joined by other performers including Idina Menzel, Florida Georgia Line, and MAGIC!. Ryan, meanwhile, will host the event with Jenny McCarthy. The event will air on December 31 at 8 P.M. ET/PT on ABC.
