"Sleepy Hollow" fans should prepare to bid farewell to one of their favorite characters on the show. Entertainment Weekly reports that the upcoming midseason finale of the FOX series will feature "the departure of a beloved character."
The site doesn't give further details about the character's departure, including whether he/she will be killed off. However, the site adds that the said episode has "a very surprising final twist," though it may not be as jaw-dropping as the first season finale.
Titled "The Akeda", the midseason finale will air Monday, December 1 at 9/8c on FOX. According to the official synopsis, "Unforeseen sacrifices must be made and loyalties are put to the ultimate test in the fight against evil."
Showrunner Mark Goffman recently teased about the midseason finale. "We have a plan that I think is really exciting, and as we get to our midseason finale, things will change dramatically," he told EW.
