One of tennis' Big Four, Andy Murray, is going to marry his girlfriend of nine years, Kim Sears. His agent confirmed the engagement news on Wednesday, November 26. Sears met Murray at the U.S. Open in 2005 and has been seen supporting her beau during games. The Scottish tennis pro reportedly popped the question on November 19.

Murray, who is active on Twitter, hasn't said anything about the engagement news. He talked about a trip to the Philippines in his latest tweet on Wednesday, saying, "Off to the Philippines for the first time today, should be a fun trip... Anyone got some suggestions for first time tourists in Manila?"

Earlier this year, Murray joked during a chat with fans that he would get married after the Wimbledon. He later tweeted, "3 things.. I don't smoke grass, I'm not getting married(yet) and I don't want to kill Rafael Nadal.."

The other two of the Big Four, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic, are already married. Federer and his wife Mirka Vavrinec are parents to two set of twins. Their younger children, boys, arrived earlier this year. Djokovic, meanwhile, married his girlfriend Jelena Ristic in July just days after he won the Wimbledon. They welcomed their first child last month. Nadal is the only one among the four who is not engaged.
