Natalie Portman's name has been linked to the latest untitled Steve Jobs biopic which was recently nabbed by Universal. The Oscar-winning actress is reportedly in early talks to play a mystery role which is said to be major.

If the talks go through, then Portman will star opposite Michael Fassbender. The actor is already attached to portray the Apple computer co-founder after several candidates such as Leonardo DiCaprio and Christian Bale pulled out of the project before deal was reached.

Danny Boyle is directing the pic from a script written by Aaron Sorkin. Universal made a quick move to swoop in the project after Sony Pictures put it on a turnaround.

Two other names, Jessica Chastain and Seth Rogen, are also rumored to join the cast list. Chastain reportedly had met with Boyle for the female lead while Rogen is eyed for the role of Steve Wozniak.
