"So You Think You Can Dance" will open the competition on the dance floor again next year. The dancing competition series has been renewed for a 12th season by FOX. It's scheduled to air in summer 2015.

The show will return with something fresh as it will feature a new "stage vs street" format, in which dancers will be divided into two teams. The first group consists of street dancers, who are those skilled in hip-hop, animation or breaking. The second group features stage dancers, who are those trained in styles such as contemporary, ballet, jazz or tap.

Ten dancers for each team will be selected for the Top 20. Once the live episodes begin, one dancer from each group will be cut each week leading up to the season finale.

"The competition is going to be much more exciting for viewers and even more demanding for the dancers," says co-creator and executive producer Nigel Lythgoe. "Dancers from different genres have always been competitive with each other and we've found a great way to harness that to bring out the absolute best performances in the best dancers across the country."

Another reality series, "America's Next Top Model", has also scored a renewal from The CW. The show created and hosted by Tyra Banks will return for a 22nd cycle in 2015. It once again will pit male against female contestants.

The network has additionally renewed unscripted series "Penn & Teller: Fool Us" and "Masters of Illusion".
