Kendrick plays 'I' during his first performance and brings Jay Rock and Chantal Kreviazuk to perform 'Pay for It' during his second set.

Kendrick Lamar was a musical guest on "Saturday Night Live" over the weekend. He first performed his solo song "I" before returning on stage to deliver "Pay for It" with Jay Rock and Chantal Kreviazuk. He also made a cameo in a sketch "Young Tarts & Old Farts" that mocked Lady GaGa's collaboration with Tony Bennett.
Lamar was not the only star who performed during the episode. Earlier on the show, Woody Harrelson who served as a host grabbed a guitar and delivered his own version of Taylor Swift's "Blank Space". He was later joined by "The Hunger Games" castmates Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, and Jennifer Lawrence.
The host also poked fun at Swift's new album "1989" during his monologue. "It was 25 years almost to the day since the first time I hosted Saturday Night Live in 1989," he said. "But with all due respect to Ms. Swift, I think I know a little bit more about 1989 than she does -- even if the memories are a little fuzzy, because of the drugs."
According to him, 1989 was the year when the Berlin Wall fell and Michael Keaton was Batman.
