The second trailer of "Mortdecai" reveals more of the eccentric side in Johnny Depp's character as well as the plot. Turns out Mortdecai is assigned to track down a painting which is stolen to fund terrorist activities.

"I'm an art dealer and aficionado," Depp's Mortdecai describes himself before introducing his wife and "only true love" Johanna (Gwyneth Paltrow) and his "manservant" Jock (Paul Bettany). "I am also on the verge of bankruptcy," he further explains, "and therefore need a fiendishly clever plan to secure our reward."

Juggling some angry Russians, the British Mi5, his impossibly leggy wife and an international terrorist, debonair art dealer and part time rogue Charlie Mortdecai must traverse the globe armed only with his good looks and special charm in a race to recover a stolen painting rumored to contain the code to a lost bank account filled with Nazi gold.

The trailer also gives glimpses at Olivia Munn and Ewan McGregor's characters. Also starring in the movie are Aubrey Plaza, Jeff Goldblum and Oliver Platt. Directed by David Koepp, the drama comedy is scheduled for release on January 23, 2015 in the U.S.
