"I Am Here" debuts the first trailer for viewing pleasure. It shows Kim Basinger as Maria, a barren woman desperate to have a baby of her own. She decides to deal with the matter by herself and sets out on a desperate and dangerous journey in order to make her dream come true.
Maria is a successful business executive, struggling to fulfill her greatest wish of all: to bring a child into the world. After suffering yet another miscarriage, a doctor informs Maria that she's too old to carry a child and her whole world comes crashing down.
Directed and written by Anders Morgenthaler, the drama premiered at the Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas in September 2014. It will hit theaters in Denmark on January 9 next year. No U.S. release date is announced.
