Donald Trump took to Instagram on Friday, October 17 to slam Russell Brand. Donald posted a video of him mocking the former husband of Katy Perry, captioning it, "@katyperry will do much better."

The businessman, who is best known for his role on "The Apprentice", said in the video, "I watched Russell Brand on television the other night. What the hell was Katy Perry thinking when she married this guy? What a loser he is."

Donald started a Twitter feud with Russell on Thursday, October 16. He firstly tweeted, "I watched Russell Brand @rustyrockets on the @jimmyfallon show the other night-what the hell do people see in Russell-a major loser!" He added, "@katyperry must have been drunk when she married Russell Brand @rustyrockets - but he did send me a really nice letter of apology!"

Russell then responded to Donald's tweet, posting, "@realDonaldTrump are you drunk when you write these tweets? Or does that foam you spray on your bald head make you high?" He also wrote, "I don't think your daddy left you any witty ripostes, and everything you have you inherited," along with a link to an article which argued that Donald independently built a real estate empire.

He also posted a link to another article of Donald with the headline, "In Financial Circles, It's Pretty Well Known That Trump Is a Deadbeat."

Donald continued to call out Katy for marrying Russell. "Katy, what the hell were you thinking when you married loser Russell Brand," he tweeted, "There is a guy who has got nothing going, a waste!" He added, "I watched Russell Brand and I think his mind is fried - he looks really bad. Russell is a total joke, a dummy who is lost!"
