Phaedra Parks is spliting from her husband, Apollo Nida, after five years of marriage. According to her representative Steve Honig, Phaedra "has retained an attorney with the intent of amicably ending her marriage."

The split came a month after Apollo began his eight-year sentence, which was issued in July after he pled guilty to mail, wire and bank fraud charges back in May. At that time, Steve told E! Online that Phaedra was "putting all of her energy into ensuring the well-being of her two children and making decisions that are in their best interests."

He added, "This situation has put a tremendous strain on Phaedra and her family and she is working hard to bring back a sense of normalcy to everyone's lives."

Back in July, Apollo told a local radio station in Atlanta that he doubted his marriage would survive his prison sentence. He also criticized Phaedra for not supporting him during his trial. "I mean, my wife didn't even f**king show up for my sentencing," he said, "I'm still salty about that."

Phaedra and Apollo tied the knot in 2009. They have two children together, 4-year-old Ayden and 17-month-old Dylan.
