AceShowbiz - This guy really hates Nickelback. Inspired by a group of fans who successfully crowdfunded a Foo Fighters concert in Richmond, Viriginia, a U.K. man named Craig Mandall created a similar campaign to prevent the Chad Kroeger-led band from performing in London.

Mandall, who brands Nickelback's music "unlistenable," is seeking $1,000 which he plans to donate to charity "or perhaps therapy for those who've been affected by the band." "With your help, we can ensure that the band do not schedule any gigs here, do not attempt to come here - nor even phone here," he explains on the Kickstarter page titled "Don't Let Nickel Back".

"Just imagine, thousands - perhaps tens of thousands of music lovers - all not witnessing an exclusive concert by Nickelback in London. It will be glorious. Legendary," he adds.

Fellow Nickelback haters can donate $1, $5, $10 or $50. They will have emails written on their behalf that will later be sent to the band's management. The more donation a person makes, the more explicit words will appear on their email.

A $50 donation, meanwhile, will also result in an email with an attached mp3 of Nickelback's music. "This way, the band will hear their own music, and likely retire immediately, thereby ensuring the success of our campaign. You also get the added bonus of not seeing Nickelback. And perhaps helping to ensure no one ever does again," Mandall explains.

The campaign has raised $87 from 18 backers at the moment of writing of this article. No one has made a $50 donation so far.

Nickelback isn't scheduled to play any show in London in foreseeable future. The Canadian band is releasing a new album titled "No Fixed Address" next month.
