Former child actress Tami Erin who is mostly remembered for playing Pippi Longstocking is sentenced to probation following a DUI arrest. According to TMZ, the three-year probation is not the only thing she got in the sentence.
The 40-year-old star is also ordered to attend alcohol education program and a weekly AA class for 10 weeks. Besides, she has to complete 240 hours of community service.
Erin's sentence stemmed from felony hit and run and drunk driving charges after she hit three cars last December. Back then, Erin reportedly was driving in L.A. when she hit a car. She drove off and hit another car, before driving off again and slamming her ride into the other car. At least one person reportedly was taken to hospital.
Erin was arrested after she failed a sobriety test. According to a source, she refused to submit a blood alcohol test and she was "totally out of control ... just out of it."
