These two actresses followed up co-star Jennifer Hudson's hints that a third movie is in the works.

AceShowbiz - Just a day after Jennifer Hudson hinted that a third "Sex and the City" movie was happening, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kristin Davis seemingly gave a confirmation. In an exchanged conversation over Twitter, Parker asked Davis about the "news."
"@SJP Miss YOU XOXOXO!! <3," Davis tweeted on Friday, October 3 along with a photo of them at the "Sex and the City 2" premiere. Parker replied, "@KristinDavis Me too you! Heard the news? X." One eager Twitter user asked Parker, "NEWS?!?! WHAT NEWS!!" The actress replied, "That news zooming around. X sj."
No more hints were available but #SexandtheCity3 became a trending topic on Twitter for a while. Warner Bros. Pictures that distributed the first two films also did not come forward with a confirmation.
Hudson was the first to suggest that a new installment was being worked on. "I think it might be [happening]," Hudson told Dish Nation Thursday. "Somebody just came to me talking about that. So if it's in the talks, it might happen. So look for it."
Some thought that "Sex and the City 3" would not happen due to the lackluster reception for the second movie. The film received 7 nominations at the 31st Golden Raspberry Awards including Worst Picture.
