Lana Del Rey is playing concerts at a cemetery next month. As reported by Billboard, the gloomy singer is scheduled to play two shows at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles on October 17 and October 18.
The cemetery is the final resting place for some famous names in the industry including Marilyn Monroe, George Harrison and Ramones' Dee Dee Ramone and Johnny Ramone. Del Rey's shows there are held in support of "Ultraviolence", her latest album which peaked at No. 1 on Billboard 200.
Fans can purchase tickets to the upcoming dates starting on September 27. Pre-sale tickets go on sale on September 24.
The announcement of Del Rey's concerts at the unlikely venue came just days after she fell ill and subsequently decided to cancel all of scheduled appearances in Europe. The "West Coast" hitmaker was supposed to make a promotional appearance on U.K.'s Radio 1 "Live Lounge" and perform two concerts for Virgin Radio in France. The former canceled event will be rescheduled for later this year.
