Tori Spelling may not be lucky enough with her scripted TV comeback, but her unscripted series is sure a hit. Lifetime has renewed her reality show "True Tori" for a second season, which will consist of eight new episodes.
The second season began filming Thursday, September 11 and will follow the actress "in near real-time as she searches for honesty and happiness with" her husband Dean McDermott. The network states, "While much of the chaos of last spring is seemingly behind her, there still exists a tremendous amount of work ahead for Tori as she struggles to find her true self."
In August, Spelling wrote on a blog post about her relationship with her husband, who admitted on the reality show that he cheated on her with another woman, "As all of you know, our family has been through a lot this last year. I'm happy and proud to say that we are doing really well, and that Dean and I are working very hard to make our relationship and our family better than ever."
While her reality show gets a second season, Spelling's ABC Family comedy "Mystery Girls" which reunited her with "Beverly Hills, 90210" co-star Jennie Garth has reportedly been canceled after just one season.
