"Dirty Grandpa" has locked a release date, just a few days after securing former "High School Musical" star Zac Efron and his senior Robert De Niro on the lead roles. The road trip comedy is set by Lionsgate to arrive in theaters across the United States starting Christmas Day, 2015.

The movie will follow a young man who is tricked by his perverted former Army general grandfather to accompany him on a trip to Florida for spring break. Dan Mazer who helped write Sacha Baron Cohen's "Borat" and "Bruno" serves behind the lens, and John Phillips writes the script.

The studio also announces release date for "Now You See Me 2". It stars Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco, Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine. Directed by Jon M. Chu and produced by Alex Kurtzman, it's due Stateside on June 10, 2016.
