Warner Bros. is reportedly interested in bringing superhero characters from the cosmic side of DC Comics Universe to the big screen. Hot on the heels of rival company Marvel's big success with its galactic ragtag "Guardians of the Galaxy", WB is allegedly trying to take a crack at similar story "Legion of Superheroes".

The "Legion of Superheroes" is a 30th Century inter-galactic team of super-powered young adults. Among the members include Cosmic Boy, Lightning Lad and Saturn Girl. According to Latino-Review, the studio has quietly sent out the comic book to screenwriters for them to check out and then come up with a movie idea.

In the meantime, WB is preparing "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" for March 25, 2016. Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot are among the cast. The studio is also planning "Shazam!", "Aquaman", "Justice League" and "Wonder Woman" movies.
