Beyonce Knowles has revealed how her now-iconic performance at last month's MTV Video Music Awards came together. On Friday, September 5, the singer posted a behind-the-scenes video showing her and her team preparing themselves for the amazing stage production.
The four-minute clip gives tons of glimpses at Bey and her nearly 50 dancers rehearsing. The diva is also seen discussing choreography, makeup and set designs with her team. At one point, she expresses her frustration about not getting to run through the performance enough times.
After finishing the performance, Beyonce walks backstage with husband Jay-Z and daughter Blue Ivy who adorably tells her mom, "Mom, everybody say good job!"
During her 18-minute set at the VMAs, Bey performed a medley of the tracks from her latest self-titled album including "Blow", "Drunk in Love", "Partition", "Flawless", "Yonce" and "XO". She was also the one of the biggest winners at the Sunday, August 24 event as she received the Michael Jackson Vanguard award.
