Celebrity

The Olympic gymnast was reportedly under the age of 18 when the alleged naked images of her were taken.

McKayla Maroney was among celebrities who became victims of a massive nude photo leak last weekend. She was allegedly under the age of 18 when the nude pictures of her were taken. On Tuesday afternoon, Reddit moderators posted a warning to its users which said the pictures of McKayla would be "immediately removed" because she was "underage (<18) in the photos taken."

Reddit said if they didn't remove the pictures, they would be "banned (very quickly)." The site also mentioned Liz Lee in the warning. They said, "Liz Lee was not part of the leaks, but people have been posting her images anyways. Liz's pictures were taken in 2007 when she was 16 years old by an ex of hers. He is a current sex offender because he posted them to 4chan. We have been instructed by the reddit admins to remove these images as well."

The site claimed photos of McKayla and Liz would be considered child pornography.

According to TMZ, one of McKayla's lawyers sent a letter to Porn.com to tell the site that "McKayla was underage in several of the photos," demanding the alleged nude pictures to be removed. Meanwhile, another lawyer for McKayla sent a different letter to some websites, claiming, "[McKayla] owns the copyright on the hacked photos."

McKayla previously denied the alleged nude photos were hers. She posted a tweet on Monday, saying, "The fake photos of me are crazy!! was trying to rise above it all, and not give 'the creator' the time of day.. BUT.."

McKayla's representative has not commented on the issue yet.
