LAPD is launching an internal investigation on two police officers who took selfies with Ray J. According to TMZ, the two cops, who supposedly captured Ray for texting while driving, let him go after taking selfies.

Ray told the site that his Bentley was pulled over by the cops in San Fernando Valley on August 6. The cops told Ray that it's illegal to text while driving. The cops were also suspicious with Ray's car because it didn't have license plate but only a custom "RJ" frame.

Ray told the cops that he was not texting but having problems to connect his blue tooth. The cops then warned him to not to text while driving. After that, the cops asked Ray to step out of his car. Instead of capturing Ray, the cops asked Ray to take photos with them.

In some pictures obtained by the site, the two cops can be seen making v signs with their hands while posing with Ray.

The internal investigation has been launched since then. According to law enforcement sources, it's against policy for police officers to take pictures with drivers after letting them off without a traffic citation.
