A rep for McGraw has explained the incident, saying that the fan grabbed the country singer's leg and 'wouldn't let go as he was moving through the crowd.'

Tim McGraw slapped a female fan who attended his recent show in Atlanta. In a video taken by another fan and shared via TMZ, the country singer is seen performing his song "Truck Yeah" in the middle of the crowd at Aaron's Amphitheatre at Lakewood when a female fan slapped him once on the knee and once closer to his groin area.
McGraw stopped singing and smacked the woman in the face. A security guard quickly stepped in and escorted the unidentified woman out of the venue as the star continued his performance. A rep for the McGraw then explained the incident to TMZ.
"Tim was singing out in the audience and someone firmly grabbed onto his leg and wouldn't let go as he was moving through the crowd He instinctively swatted to try to keep them from ripping his jeans, and so he could get to more fans who could slap hands with him before the end of the show," the rep said.
